Our professional technicians will undertake a detailed courtesy tire & maintenance inspection that can serve as a report card for your vehicle and the repairs it may require today or in the future.
The courtesy tire & maintenance inspection comes free of cost with any service and includes the following checks: wipers, washer fluid pump, bulbs, service lights, blower motor operation, visual checks for A/C condenser, check engine light, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, P/S fluid, differential fluid, oil, vent service, fuel system preventative maintenance, air filter, cabin air filter, belts, hoses, steering linkage, suspension, driveline, tire tread depth, tire pressure, brake pads/shoes, bake rotors/drums, battery, alignment and horn functionality.
Good news—all our Goodyear Auto Service locations offer vehicle inspections when you come in for any services at any time of the year, including things like tire and wheel balancing. While this is not the same as an emissions test or a state inspection, we also provide those services at select locations. To find a service center near you, go to our Find a Service Center page.
Some of the most notable aspects of our complete car inspection include:
TIRES - We check air pressure, tread depth, speed ratings and load capacity to ensure you have the right tire for your vehicle’s manufacturer recommendations.
FLUIDS & PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE - We’ll check your oil and other fluids such as transmission, coolant, power steering, wiper and brakes.
UNDER THE HOOD - We’ll check your engine start and determine your car battery’s condition as well as its lights, filters, and more. A print-out of your battery health will also be included.
BRAKES - To give you an idea of its remaining lifespan, we’ll check your front and rear brakes to look for signs of wear.
We recommend a courtesy tire & maintenance inspection with each Oil Change Service or any other service appointment, so you can stay up-to-date on your vehicle’s condition. Catching necessary repairs early can help you avoid significant fixes.
